It is a mechanism that allows donors, government agencies, and the general public to verify the legitimacy and credibility of NGOs, particularly those that are engaged in fundraising and receiving donations for social development programs. The Beacon Academy has been accredited by the PCNC since 2005.

The National Book Development Board (NBDB) is a government agency that is tasked with the development and promotion of the Philippine book publishing industry.
