Admissions Guidelines
The Beacon Academy seeks to enroll a broad range of students who have the potential to contribute and succeed in a small, participatory learning community. It aims to ensure that each admitted student is in an educational environment in which he or she flourishes from the Academy’s full range of programs, is sympathetic to its goals, and contributes positively to the community.
The Academy accepts students from Grades 7-12. It reserves the right to decide, based on a thorough review of application documents, to place the child in the grade level it deems most developmentally appropriate. Foreign temporary residents shall be eligible for admission provided they have a valid visa and a Student Study Permit (SSP) granted by the Bureau of Immigration.
